Testimonials

This was my 2nd Trip with The Abundant traveler. Being a pretty novice traveler, I typically do the touristy things and stay in a chain hotel. It is so fun to sign up for a trip with Kim and everything is taken care of. A few questions, a few suggestions and a few fun ideas were thrown my way and everything sounded so fun. Kim is a seasoned traveler and really knows how to get us immersed in the culture by finding smaller ares to stay in that aren't touristy, giving one a sense of what it would be like to actually live in the community.
L.S.
The Abundant Traveler has wonderful videos/vlogs on what to do in a location as well as practicalities which help in the enjoyment of your vacation. With Kim, you are well prepared and do not waste anytime in immersing yourself in what the place has to offer. I cannot thank Kim enough for making this much needed vacation so effortless and memorable.

Which Airport do I fly into?
My recommendation is to fly to Queretero QRO as it is a smaller airport and easier to get to San Miguel. You can also fly in to Leon BJX.

Is airport transportation provided?
Yes, please provide your flight details and we will organize your transfers from the airport to the hotel.

When should I arrive at the airport?
Our recommendation is to arrive by 2:00pm on Thursday as we will be meeting at 5pm for a group introduction and welcome

When should I book my flight home?
Our recommendation is an early afternoon flight on Monday. That will give you plenty of time for your final breakfast and farewells to the group before you get your transfer to the airport.

What if I have food allergies?
Please email us with your food allergies and we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs. Mexican food is so varied and delicious, we are sure your needs will be met.

Additionally, we recommend MedJet supplemental insurance.

Is Mexico safe?
We have not had any issues in Mexico; however, all travel has it’s inherent safety concerns. We recommend not wandering away from lighted areas and not to be out late at night, nor walk by yourself after dark. Do not put yourself at risk.
