High Falls Hike at Dupont State Forest

There’s something so wonderful about hiking through the mountains of North Carolina.  The trees, the views, the mist?  I love it all!  There’s a great hike just over an hour from Asheville, NC, at Dupont State Forest.  It’s about 5.5 miles, and the hike takes you to the 3 incredible waterfalls of Triple Falls, Hooker Falls and High Falls. About DuPont State Park

DuPont State Forest is located along the North Carolina/South Carolina border, about 45 minutes south of Asheville, NC. It is a large state forest that features mountains, forests, waterfalls, and more across over 10,000 acres.

It is a very popular outdoor recreation for those living and around the Blue Ridge Mountains.
