Abundant Travel Tips: Kotor, Montenegro & Sketchers

Gearing up for 2020 travel

My major travels for 2019 ended last September, and I am so ready to hit the road again.  Each year, I try to improve my travel gear in quality, weight and efficiency, and this year I’ve found a new pair of walking shoes. Also, this week you can check out my new Island Hopping blog post as well as my vlog in Kotor, Montenegro.  P.S. For those of you who missed the Hahnenkamm last week, here’s the video of Mattias Mayer winning the men’s downhill. ⛷

Sketchers

I’m always looking for versatile shoes when I travel. Shoes that are comfortable enough to walk for hours, but ‘cute’ enough not to embarrass myself. And if they save space in my suitcase, even better! This year, I’m loving the Sketchers Sepulveda Blvd-A la Mode Sneaker. They are light, and airy (don’t wear when raining); they are trendy and have a memory foam cushion to help your body when walking for hours. I love them so much, I actually bought them in tan and black. What are your favorite travel shoes?

Island Hopping in Croatia

Croatia, Abundant Travel Tips

I’ve talked quite a lot about Croatia recently. I found the country inviting, inexpensive and I LOVE the Mediterranean lifestyle. My favorite part about Croatia was visiting the different islands especially Hvar and Korcula. I think the next time I visit Croatia, I will spend 2-3 days on each island, and enjoy the uniqueness of each. Check out this week’s blog post introducing you to more than 20 Croatia islands.

Kotor Montenegro

What a beautiful and strange little country. It’s like being on a New Zealand fjord in the middle of the Adriatic! Enjoy this week’s vlog style video of my 48hr in Kotor.
