Abundant Travel Tips: Changing Travel & Unclaimed Baggage

What's Next?

Happy Tuesday Travels.  I hope this missive finds you safe and healthy!  It’s been  struggle the past month as Austin shuts down again, and US citizens are not allowed to travel to Europe.  However, I’m coming out the other side of my travel  funk, and…I’ve been researching domestic trips including a road trip on the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway), The San Juan Islands  and Hawaii.  Aaaah, just mentioning travel makes my heart happy!

This week I’m sharing a few interesting articles as well as the only unclaimed baggage store in the US.  Make sure to keep reading….

Unclaimed Baggage

Have you ever wondered what happens to all of the lost and unclaimed luggage in the US?  Well, look no further; the only unclaimed baggage store in the US is located in Huntsville, Alabama.  Having grown up in Alabama, I always knew about this store, but it never crossed my mind that they might have an incredible online shop.  Check out this fun website, Unclaimed Baggage, and enjoy finding some new goodies for your next trip.  Whether you’re looking for luggage, clothes or designer handbags, their online shop has it all.

Domestic Travel Bliss

I’ve been researching travel restrictions and protocols, the future of travel, as well as some interesting articles about some exciting domestic locales.  The US is so varied in topography and lifestyle, so how can I get my ‘exotic’ fix without leaving the good old US of A?  First stop, island hopping in Hawaii.  40k points on United or AA, and inter-island flights with Hawaiian Air.  Check out this island hopping article from The Points Guy.  My next thought was how can I get an international feel on a domestic road trip; what towns feel like you’ve landed in a foreign country?  I found this article listing 13 no passport required destinations.  My final stop in the next few months will be The San Juan Islands, and I’ve been researching what to do and see on this site.  Are you making travel plans yet?  How do you feel about getting on a plane or taking a road trip?

Video Recap...

I watched this beautiful drone YouTube video today of the Alps, and it made me think of all the fun my girlfriends and I were had this time last year hiking The Tour de Mont Blanc.  Enjoy this recap video of Day 3 on the Tour de Mont Blanc.
